The No-Name Creek Bridge (NNCB) was built in KSCI's plant in Russell,
Kansas and shipped to its installation site on a flatbed truck.
The bridge was built in three 23 x 9 foot sections. The two outer
sections had the guardrail built into them at the factory and
were shipped to the job site as an integral unit. Assembly of
the bridge took one day. |

Installation of the bridge on November 8, 1996. The bridge was
installed by placing the three panels side by side. The guardrails
and wear surface (polymer concrete) was built into the panels.
Installation took one day. Since this was our first bridge, it
took a little longer than it will on future bridges.

The dedication. We had the traditional ribbon cutting and speeches
along with signs and flags.

The final product. Kansas State University has a test jig under
the bridge that they will use for the next several years to measure
changes in the bridge.
